Daily Guide Rates

Your trip will include transportation from our land base to the house which will be heated, the hole will be open, spears and decoys are available for your use, or bring your own. Lunch can be provided for an extra charge, but bring your own beverages and of course a camera. We have both single and double houses, although the doubles don't go out until later, when the ice is thicker. The doubles have two holes that are 30" x 40", with plenty of room to move around. The singles have one hole that is 30" x 40" and can fit two people. For first timers, we can sit with you and get you started; it doesn't take long to catch on. If you need help cleaning your fish, we can also help with that.

A valid Minnesota angling license is required as well as a spearing license. Also new this year, non-residents may spear. Check the link to the DNR website for prices. The spearing season opens on November 15 and closes the last day of February.

Partial days are negotiable, but you'll want to stay all day!

Lake of the Woods is famous for its winter ice fishing and there are many resorts in the area for lodging and/or bombardier fishing trips and many miles of nicely groomed snowmobile trails available, so come up for a few days and mix it up.
